The Salon is now one of Hull's leading Unisex hairdressing salons and is located in fashionable Chanterlands Avenue, to the west of Hull city centre.
Founded by Esther, the long-established customer-centred business has earned, a reputation for friendly service, great value and exceptional hairdressing standards in every department.
Esther began her hairdressing journey on a school work experience scheme. After leaving school she began professional studies and became qualified in 1999
In addition to operating independently at wedding fairs, charity events and fashion shows, she worked for Wella doing demonstrations and presentations around the country
Passionate about recreating the old-fashioned standards of high quality hairdressing and exceptional customer service, she decided to open her own hairdressing business.
Now in its eleventh year, The Salon has gone from strength to strength, offering men's hairdressing, women's hairdressing and hairdressing for children - all at affordable prices.
We cut and style women's, men's and children's hair. Now a leading Unisex salon in HULL, our aim is to ensure that you always get the look that you seek at a fair price.

Our experience allows us to cater for any taste in hair style. Whilst cutting is a skill in its own right, hair styling requires an understanding beyond just technique.
Esther specialises in precision cutting, colouring, highlights, and styling—bringing over 20 years of experience and a passion for creating beautiful, confidence-boosting results for every client
Adam is a skilled stylist who’s quickly built a loyal following. Friendly and professional, he delivers great results and continues to grow his client base with every appointment.
Lumi offers acrylic extensions, BIAB, gel nails, gel toes, eyebrow tinting, and facial waxing—delivering flawless, long-lasting results in a friendly, professional setting.
We are stockists of top hair care brands including Cactus, Milk_Shake, Infuse My Colour and Elite. We are always happy to advise on th ebest products for your hair.
